Our kids were thrilled to get up close and personal with the adorable Meerkats - Sergei, Sudi, Surabi, and Semush. The exciting tour provided an unforgettable experience for our family, and we loved exploring the zoo and feeding the animals. The enclosure sizes at the zoo were impressive, much larger than other urban zoos we've visited. The Family Fridays event was perfect for our kids, who are 4 years and older. It was a fantastic way to spend quality time as a family.
My children wanted more interactive activities during our stay.

We had an incredible stay at Jamala. Celebrating our wedding anniversary, the service from the staff was magical and caring. The food was exceptional, and we even heard the lions roar, which was exhilarating. The location, cleanliness, and ease of access were all top-notch. The exhibits were impressive, with well-fed animals in first-class enclosures. Highly recommended for a million-star experience.
Do recommend this hotel.

The Capuchin Rooms have a stunning view of one of the most intelligent species on earth. It was amazing to watch them up close. The main bedroom and bathroom in the uShaka Lodge were convenient and comfortable, especially for someone like me with limited mobility. The Giraffe Treehouse experience was unforgettable, meeting Hummer and Skye right at our room at 4pm was a highlight of the stay. The Wild Encounter Room was spacious and easily accommodated our group of four. The Reef Room with the ocean aquarium was a unique and immersive experience.
Personally, I found the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the Jungle Bungalows a bit overwhelming, but I understand others may enjoy the direct view of the animal habitats.

Although the price was high for a family, the experience was worth it.

I chose this hotel for attending a meeting and was pleasantly surprised by the unique experience it offered. Being able to meet the cheetahs at the fence was a thrilling and unforgettable moment. The hotel's facilities were excellent and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay throughout my trip.
The only service that I missed for my work was the availability of a business center or dedicated workspace.

The guided walks gave me the opportunity to get up close and personal with animals, like the lions, tigers, and snakes. The view from the entertaining areas was magnificent, and the infinity pool was a delight.
Oh, how I hated seeing those fine carvings, artworks, and artifacts from throughout the African continent. So tacky, really.

At Jamala Wildlife Lodge, the animal encounters are absolutely incredible. During our 11am tour on the second day, we got to meet the kings and queens of the jungle, as well as a slithering friend, mischievous monkeys, sly hyenas, and charming koalas. It was like being in the middle of a wildlife adventure movie!
Downtime waiting.

What an lovely experience! I had the privilege of staying at Jamala Wildlife Lodge and it was awesome. The highlight was staying in the Lion bungalow, where I could hear the majestic lions roaring at night. The themed rooms were excellent, immersing me in the animals' habitat. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring my safety and providing a wealth of information about the zoo and its conservation efforts. The food and drinks were really good, with a great wine selection. The guided tours allowed me to interact with very nice animals like lions, cheetahs, and rhinos. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Despite a minor issue with hot water and some overcooked food, I highly recommend Jamala Wildlife Lodge. I can't say enough about this very nice hotel experience.
